- The school
has maintained its annual programme of
international visits and exchanges.
Every year a short residential visit to
Northern France and Belgium is offered to
learners in Years 7 and 8. During the May
half-term holiday a longer residential visit
to either Disneyland Paris or the Rhineland
operates in alternate years.
Brumby Engineering College is proud to be
involved with the long standing exchange to
Montelimar in the South of France. Students
from Brumby (along with a party of students
from other local schools) stay with their
French host family at Easter and their
French partner visits them in July of the
same year. Links with the French staff are
excellent and the exchange has been running
for over 40 years.

Brumby Engineering College has a tradition
of links with Scunthorpe’s German twin town,
Lüneburg too. We are seeking to build a new
exchange with the Oedeme Gymnasium in
Lüneburg and look forward to taking our
students to stay in the beautiful city.
