There are two tiers of assessment:
Foundation (G-C) and Higher (D-A*).
Candidates may be entered for either
Foundation or Higher in each skill. each
skill is examined with equal weighting (25%
of the final result).

course builds upon a student’s existing
knowledge of the language. More detailed
