BTEC First
Diploma in ICT for Practitioners
The BTEC is a
qualification that is equivalent to four
ordinary GCSEs
Assessment for
the BTEC depends upon the units which are
chosen. Currently assessment of students takes
place through the production of a series of work
related coursework tasks
The BTEC is a
nationally recognised qualification which has
been developed to provide students with the
knowledge, understanding and skills necessary to
prepare them for employment or further
qualification
