ARTS GCSE AQA
The essential element of the arts is creativity.
The AQA syllabus offers a cross-curricular
approach which incorporates areas of experience
from the visual and performance arts. The focus
of the syllabus as a whole is the integration of
the arts, rather than the discrete arts and
emphasis is placed on communication through
planning, critical analysis of arts works and
development of an area of study. This is then
followed by presentation of the outcome and an
evaluation of the whole process, using the
appropriate organisational skills.

Results are on an upward trend.
