Community
Work
It is a long established practice of this
faculty to work with our colleagues in the
feeder schools and with other community agencies
as appropriate. Workshops/ series of lessons
have regularly taken place in Brumby Juniors,
Lincoln Gardens and recently in Grange Lane
Juniors. More recently staff and students have
worked on drama workshops with the gifted and
talented children of Frodingham road infant
school.
At least twice a year, Emma Woolley, a
professional dancer and teacher directs
workshops with both key stages at Brumby
Engineering College.
Consistent links are made with our partner
school, South Axholme Community School,
involving theatre visits and other projects in
Expressive Arts.
Industry Links
The College is the only School in North
Lincolnshire to have achieved the Plowright Gold
Award for sustained excellence in and
development of the performing arts.
The College is also a Partnership School of
Compass Theatre – a National and internationally
renowned Touring Classical Theatre Company.
