European Computer Driving Licence – ECDL for Adults
This is a computer qualification aimed at beginners,
or those with some experience, who wish to learn how
to use common software, and gain a valuable
qualification.
You can enrol and on this course anytime, and take
the exams at any time when you feel you are ready.
You will learn at your own pace, during term time,
in our friendly atmosphere. Classes are small and
informal, currently on Tuesdays from 3.30pm until
5.00pm. It is not necessary for you to have a child
attending Brumby Engineering College to be able to
take advantage of this training.
We only charge £25 to cover the cost of the
examinations.

The College currently uses Microsoft Office 2003 and
Windows XP. The seven modules that make up the ECDL
are:
1. Basic concepts of IT
2. Using the computer and managing files
3. Word processing
4. Spreadsheets
5. Database
6. Presentation
7. Information and Communication
