Key Stage 4
The course is designed to cater for the needs of a group of
students selected at the end of Year 9. They are specially
chosen from students who will struggle to cope with a full
academic diet of GCSE subjects.
The course is built on seeking to ensure that each individual
student is offered the opportunity to manage his or her own
learning and to succeed at the level that he/she finds most
appropriate. In this way we aim to increase self-esteem.
The course aims to enable students to design, organise, carry
out and evaluate their own programme and performance.
Accreditation
The course is based entirely on A.S.D.A.N. Programmes using the
main awards at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels.
