Our Curriculum : Art
& Design Click here to return to Our Curriculum Key Stage 4 Course Content Art and Design is a subject where everyone can succeed in obtaining a grade. The only exceptions are those students who do not turn up for the final examination, or fail to produce any coursework. This does not mean that the subject is easy or of little value, but that there is a wide range of success according to individual abilities. Coursework and examination During Years 10 and 11 you will be timetabled for Art and Design. The course is divided into two main parts:- Coursework = 60% Terminal Examination = 40% The important qualities needed are commitment to the work and being prepared to give a little thought and care.
